Origins and principles

Paida Lajin is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a deeper and more effective form of "cupping", working on the meridians, the muscles and the internal organs to restore the correct flow of energy.

“Through the practice of Paida Lajin, we can unblock the microcirculation and rejuvenate our organs.”

How it works

Health according to Traditional Chinese Medicine is more than your cardiovascular organs — it is about the health of all your internal organs, from the kidneys and liver to the lungs and stomach. Paida Lajin stimulates the microcirculation, helps eliminate toxins and lets the body function properly.

  • Improves circulationSupports the flow of energy and nutrients.
  • Helps eliminate toxinsStimulates microcirculation through the capillaries.
  • Strengthens the organsSupports the correct functioning of the body.

The internal organs

The founder, Master Hongchi Xiao, was taught by many monks, hermits and Daoist practitioners while travelling in the mountains of China. He is an accomplished acupuncturist as well as a master of several healing arts of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I translated Master Hongchi Xiao's book on Paida Lajin into Italian. Write to me if you would like a copy.

The two techniques

Paida Lajin is practised through two techniques that complete each other:

Hands-on Paida technique

Paida

Slapping or patting the body with your own fingers, fists and knuckles gives an incredible boost of energy, enhancing the physical efficiency of the body and the clarity of the mind.

Stretching in the Lajin technique

Lajin

Stretching makes meridians, tendons and muscles long and open. No qi can flow in stiff muscles, tense tendons and closed meridians.
